Houet Coordination Endorses National Projects and Revolutionary Efforts


Houet: The Houet Provincial Coordination of the National Confederation of Peoples of the Alliance of Sahel States (CP-AES) expressed its support for major national initiatives and revolutionary dynamics during a press conference in Bobo-Dioulasso. The event, chaired by Mr. Sidiki Sanon, focused on backing the President of Faso’s significant national projects, the ongoing revolutionary efforts in the Guiriko region, and the new consular delegation team of the Chamber of Commerce in the Guiriko region.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Sanon commended the accomplishments of the National Bureau of Major Projects of Burkina Faso (BN-GPB), despite security challenges. He highlighted various development projects benefiting the populace, including the Faso Mªbo program, which focuses on infrastructure development such as the construction of urban and rural roads, paving, and rehabilitation of strategic routes.



The CP-AES also emphasized the government’s initiatives in health, with plans to build municipal medical centers and intensive care units, alongside training health specialists. In the security sector, efforts to recruit and train the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), as well as acquiring modern logistical resources, were noted.



The coordination expressed its firm support for the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, encouraging youth to rally around the leadership and uphold the revolutionary spirit. It called for unity among the people, particularly in Guiriko, to back the presidential initiatives and resist imperialism.



The CP-AES, established on September 16, 2024, comprises populations from Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. The meeting concluded with a call to action for the youth of Burkina Faso, urging them to be proactive in nation-building efforts, with a declaration of commitment to Captain Ibrahim Traore and the progressive revolution.
