Kenedougou: The provincial women’s coordination of Kenedougou, led by Bernadette Traore/Sanou, organized a walk and aerobics session on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the August 4 stadium in Orodara. This event marked the pink month dedicated to combating breast cancer.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the activity received technical support from the provincial directorate in charge of sports. The event was sponsored by Madjara Veronique Traore and co-sponsored by Babali Mahamadou Barry, CEO of Presta Sud. It gathered numerous women from various backgrounds in a communal setting alongside local administrative authorities.

The provincial coordinator, Bernadette Traore/Sanou, stated that the aerobics session was designed to promote relaxation and strengthen cohesion among women, while also preparing them for the breast cancer screening day scheduled for the following day.

Sponsor Madjara Veronique Traore encouraged participants to engage in regular physical activities, emphasizing its importance for well-being and physical health. Meanwhile, Saidou Sakira, the High Commissioner of Kenedougou province, praised the initiative and called on women to participate actively in the upcoming breast cancer screening campaign.
