Ministry of Justice’s New Communication Director Commits to Enhancing Institutional Visibility


Ouagadougou: The new Director of Communication and Press Relations (DCRP) for the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Yelkoussan Bertrand Some, has vowed to continue the efforts initiated by his predecessor to enhance the visibility and readability of the ministry’s actions. This commitment was highlighted during the handover ceremony between Some and outgoing director Dimitri Ouedraogo, overseen by the chief of staff of the Minister of Justice, Bepoadi Sinini.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Bertrand Some expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him and emphasized his dedication to fulfilling his responsibilities. He stated his intention to work collaboratively with the ministry’s management and staff to make communication a pivotal tool in supporting public policies. Some acknowledged the groundwork laid by his predecessor, highlighting the importance of building upon existing foundations to further develop the ministry’s communication strategies.



Some pledged to work closely with the department’s personnel to refine and innovate communication and press relations approaches, aiming to positively impact citizens. He stressed the need for translating words into actions to achieve tangible results.



Dimitri Ouedraogo, who led the ministry’s communications for nearly two years, praised his successor as a respected and experienced leader with a clear vision for public service. He encouraged the DCRP team to extend the same support to Some that he had received, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous progress in the ministry’s communication efforts.
