Ouagadougou: The regional director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) of Djoro, Sie Pale, praised the effective presence of teachers in schools during a supervision tour of the 2025-2026 administrative year in Oronkua, on September 15.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional director, accompanied by the provincial director of Ioba, Adama Neya, the head of the Oronkua basic education district, Nibebalaon Dabire, as well as heads of services from the DREPPNF, visited Oronkua “A” school to supervise the administrative start of the school year. At this school, 13 teachers were present out of the 14 that the establishment has.
Mr. Pale praised the diligence of education stakeholders. “I congratulate the teachers and educational supervisors for their efforts that have enabled them to achieve a high success rate in school exams and improve regional results,” he said.
He encouraged teachers to implement pedagogical innovations throughout this school year and discussed the implementation of school councils. “I urge you to be more active in your classes in order to achieve better results at the end of the year,” he advised.
The regional director and his delegation also visited the school grounds.
Before the Oronkua stopover, the DREPPNF of Djoro met in Dano with teachers from the Dreyer Communal Early Learning and Preschool Education Center in Dano, as well as with those from the Dakole A and B and Dreyer primary school groups. The stakeholders found the discussions with the regional director and department heads to be enlightening.
