Bobo-dioulasso: The Board of Directors of the National Union of Cotton Producers of Burkina (UNPCB) handed over a batch of construction materials to the presidential initiative “Faso Mebo” this Saturday in Bobo-Dioulasso (Guiriko region).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation is valued at more than 3 million CFA francs and includes 80 tons of granite, 120 gangs, mufflers, vests, water, 20 tons of cement, and 40 tons of sand. This contribution is intended to rehabilitate infrastructure and enhance the aesthetic appeal of Burkina Faso.

UNPCB President Nikiebo N’KAMBI emphasized that the donation was made out of a sense of patriotism and responsibility. “It is with responsibility that cotton producers have decided to support the government in its mission to build Burkina Faso,” he declared.

The UNPCB Board of Directors has also called on all Burkinabe citizens to rally around the “Faso Mebo” initiative, aiming for a rejuvenated Burkina Faso.
