Ouagadougou: The Association of Sports Journalists of Burkina Faso (AJSB) announced on Wednesday the date of its Super Cup at Mogho-Naba Baongho, during an audience granted by His Majesty at his royal palace in Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, it was as part of the preparations for the 32nd edition of the Super Cup that the AJSB delegation led by its president Ibrahima Diallo was received in audience by Mogho Naba Baongho at the Royal Palace. During this courtesy and respect visit, the AJSB officially announced to His Majesty the date of the Super Cup for Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Wobi Stadium in Bobo-Dioulasso. The final of this prestigious match will pit Rahimo FC, national champion and winner of the Faso Cup, against the Union sportive des forces arm©es (USFA), second in the national championship.

The President of the AJSB took the opportunity to seek the blessings of His Majesty and ask for his support for the success of this great celebration of Burkinabe football, placed under his moral authority, as guarantor of the values of peace, unity, and social cohesion. Mogho Naba praised the AJSB's continued commitment to the development of sport in Burkina Faso. He expressed his blessings for the event to be held in peace, security, and popular fervor.

The 31st edition of the AJSB Super Cup was won by AS Douanes.
