A civilian was brutally murdered in Bamenda on Saturday night when he was returning from an outing. Valentine Ngoucho, a resident of Bamenda, was attacked along with a friend near a location known as 'Two Bridge.' The assailants believed to be armed men, set Ngoucho's motorcycle on fire and kidnapped his friend. Ngoucho was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The attack comes amid a surge of violence in Bamenda where separatists have been fighting government forces for several years. The incident occurred around 9PM. Source: Cameroon News Agency
