President of Faso Empowers Regions with 764 Vehicles for Infrastructure Development

Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, has emphasized the need for community involvement in infrastructure projects as he handed over 764 vehicles to the National Coordinator of the Presidential Initiative Faso Mªbo. These vehicles are designated for use in the Yaadga, KoulsE, Goulmou, and Bankui regions to aid infrastructure development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain TRAORE expressed his appreciation for the progress made so far and urged for the swift delivery of subsequent resources. He conveyed his hopes for the proper utilization of the vehicles, blessing those who will operate them on construction sites. The President stressed that the durability of infrastructure depends on the community's involvement in its creation and upkeep.

Captain TRAORE called on the regional governors to clearly communicate his vision to local communities and motivate them to actively participate in infrastructure development. He highlighted the essential role of the masses in ensuring that infrastructure is well-maintained and sustainable.

Furthermore, the President directed the Minister of Infrastructure, Adama Luc SORGHO, to provide technical support for the Faso Mªbo brigades. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between technicians, engineers, and regional directors to ensure the success of the initiative.

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Initiative Faso Mªbo pledged to quickly implement Captain TRAORE's vision, following the receipt of this second batch of equipment, which follows an initial delivery on March 27.
